Beverly Meehan Obituary

Sending condolences to all of you for the loss of your amazing Mom. Beverly was a regular presence in our lives checking in by handwritten notes or sitting down with your Dad in my parents living room, so earnestly asking to hear updates on our lives and also smiling such a big smile and a laugh when the four of them would be recalling funny stories from their times together. Your Mom´s words were always so thoughtful and peaceful. Her notes always shared what was joyful in her life. Sending love to all of you as she joins the big party in Heaven with your Dad and my parents. I can just hear them welcoming her. She will be sorely missed here.

I want to pass along condolences to you all for your loss. I also want to share a story that my mom always shared about her that might make you smile at this difficult time. Back when I was in Kindergarten, her youngest son Bobby and I were in Mrs. Albin's class at Warren Elementary. My mom brings me in and looks around and sees all parents who were younger, and on their first kid. Mrs. Meehan ended up being a kindred spirit - both parents with their youngest child, and it made it a little easier for her, having someone going through the same life stage. My mom always told that story, and it reflects the kindness that she shared. Peace and prayers for her spirit that I know lives on in you all and prayers for all of you at this difficult time.

I know Beverly from Brightview Mays Chapel Ridge. My father, Buck Lechner, is a resident there. Beverly was one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever known. She cared about everyone. I will miss her.
