Beverly Ann (Watson) Draudt passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the age of 80.
Beverly was born October 20, 1944, in Amherst to Leon and Thelma (Sprunk) Watson. She grew up in Florence, Ohio, and graduated from Firelands High School, Class of 1962. She resided briefly in Elyria and Vermilion and was a long-time resident of Wakeman and, later, Norwalk.
Beverly loved and cherished her family and enjoyed spending her time with them, creating lasting memories and traditions. She also loved coming from a large family of aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins, and shared many fond memories of those years. She loved music, dogs, games, cooking, reading, and gardening. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed laughing, joking and having fun. She adored her family. She attended Norwalk Alliance Church where she was baptized with three of her grandchildren. She worked at JCPenney in Elyria and South Shore packing company in Vermilion before her marriage, and later at Kmart in Norwalk for over 20 years as a jewelry manager. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her but will always be fondly remembered for her love and devotion as a great daughter, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her memory and her legacy will live on as a tribute to her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Thomas Earl Draudt, whom she loved for 64 years. They had three children, Michele Williams (Thomas) of Powell, Donna Coon (Chad) of Berlin Heights, and Melissa Englert (Kevin) of Norwalk. She has 11 beloved grandchildren, Allory Williams Dudycz (Karol) , Kellen Williams, Ellis Williams, Ryllan Williams, Tyler Coon, Hannah Coon, Micaela Sigsworth (Sam), Kaden Englert (Cortney), Olivia Englert (Nathan Juby), Sydney Englert, Ava Englert; and one great-grandchild, Halle Juby. A second great grandchild, Veronica Englert, is due to arrive in April. She is also survived by her brother, Dennis Watson (Betty) of Kipton; sister, Debra (Watson) Wolfe of Wakeman; and many nieces and nephews.
