Benson L. Hopkins Mott, 8, of Greenwich, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023, at Akron Children's Hospital.
He was born Nov. 9, 2015, in Norwalk. Benson was in second grade at South Central Elementary School. He loved being outdoors and was very loving and caring. Benson enjoyed playing sports including football and baseball, deer hunting, competing in power wheel demo derby's, truck pulls, riding 4-wheelers, and gaming.
Benson is survived by his father, Austin (Hannah Dresser) Mott of Greenwich; mother, Tabatha Lynn Hopkins of Greenwich; siblings, Weston Mott and Lylah Miller; paternal grandparents, Tracie Mott and Reese Suddith of Greenwich; maternal grandparents, Leonard and Janet Barnett of Greenwich; cousins, Corbin and Frannie Felver; and several aunts, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, 2023, and 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, until the time of Benson's service at 11 a.m., all at Buckeye Community Center, 79 Noble Road E., Shiloh, Ohio, 44878. Burial will follow at Greenfield Township Cemetery, Steuben.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Church of the Master, 2643 SR 162, Monroeville, Ohio, 44847.
