Barbara R. Rissler, age 16 years, 6 months, 14 days, of 1189 Baseline Road W, Shiloh, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024, after sustaining injuries in a buggy/vehicle collision.
Born Feb. 28, 2008, she was the daughter of Paul R. and Barbara M. (Reiff) Rissler. She attended Meadow Crest Mennonite Church.
Surviving are her mother, Barbara; siblings, Marian (David) Martin of Greenwich, Leroy Rissler of Ephrata, Pennsylvania, Harlan (Lena Mae) Rissler of Shiloh, Wilma (Richard) Horning of Apple Creek, Lamar (Jennifer) Rissler of Shiloh, Vernon Rissler of Leola, Pennsylvania and Dorcas Rissler (special friend, Mark Zimmerman) of Shiloh; seven nieces; five nephews; paternal grandmother, Alta Rissler of Ephrata, Pennsylvania; and many friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Paul; paternal grandfather, Paul M. Rissler; maternal grandfather, Eli Reiff; maternal grandmother, Barbara Reiff Zimmerman; and maternal stepgrandfather, David Zimmerman.
Family and friends are welcome 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, at the family home, 1189 Baseline Road W, Shiloh. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, 2024 at Bloomingrove Old Order Mennonite Church, Free Road, Shiloh with burial at the church cemetery. Bishop Ammon Burkholder and the home ministry will officiate the services.
