Arthur L. Gingery, 76, of Milan, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at his home.

He was born July 3, 1949, in Wellington, to Lawrence and Frances (Manning) Gingery.

Arthur graduated from Wellington High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army who proudly served his country from 1969 to 1971. He was an equipment operator at Erie County Health Department for many years. He also held various positions at Zeiter Trucking, Chemi-Trol Chemical Company, and Lorain County JVS. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2875 in Huron and a lifelong member of VFW Post 2743 in Norwalk. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching OSU Football games and NASCAR races with his friends and family. He also enjoyed watching old western movies.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Karen (Mingus) Gingery, whom he married June 12, 1993. He is also survived by his sons, Alex (Curtis) Gingery of Bellevue and Brent Gingery (daughter Kaylee) of North Georgia; Shirley Sheffield of New London, Carol (Alan) Lacko of Elyria, Bonnie (Jim) Richards, Kathy (AKA "Pete") Gingery and Melody Gingery, all of Wakeman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his half brother, Robert Greenbank and half sister, Karen Sabin.

Graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Riverside Cemetery, 71 South Street, Berlin Heights. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at their home on Milliman Road in Norwalk.
