Arline R. Gates, 89, of Willard, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

She was born February 20, 1936, to the late Gerald and Rosalia Eberly of Monroeville. Arline was married to Harold Gates, and together they had three children, Janet, Gerald, and Jean.

She enjoyed playing cards at Snake Road Coon Hunters Club and going to casinos. She was often watching sports channels and followed the Guardians religiously.

Arline retired from Pioneer Balloon Company in Willard, where she was a supervisor. She spoke fondly of all her coworkers and enjoyed many recent visits from them.

She is survived by her children, Janet (Joseph) Androsac and Gerald Gates; granddaughter, Amanda (Daniel) Bowser; great-grandchildren, Nickolas Bowser (fiancée Alexis Lutz) and Allyson Bowser (fiancée Charles Schaub); and brother, William Eberly.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving companion, Green Collins Jr.; daughter, Jean Davis; son-in-law, Dennis Davis; niece, Mindy Eberly; and nephew, Michael Eberly.

The family extends a heartfelt gratitude to Southern Care Milan Hospice. Special thanks to Madison and Samantha for their compassion and loving care.

Respecting her wishes, there will be no service.
