Anna Jane Coburn, 90, of Greenwich, died peacefully Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Willows of Willard, surrounded by family.
Anna was born Feb. 28, 1932, in Greenwich, the daughter of Fredrick and Ella (Oney) Sutton.
Anna was a life-long residence of Greenwich and a 1950 graduate of Greenwich High School. In 1955, she married Basil Coburn and they began their life of farming and milking cows, side by side. After retirement, she and Basil wintered in Florida where they made friends from Canada and across the United States. A year never went by, but what Anna had a beautiful garden, producing a bumper crop that she was always eager to share.
Anna is survived by nieces; nephews; and many dear friends.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Basil Coburn; and two sisters, Charlotte Vanderpool and Beverley Seidel.
Anna's funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2022, at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main Street, Greenwich. Burial will follow at Edwards Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be 9:30-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
