Ann M. Spencer-Parker, 74, of Norwalk, passed away early Monday morning, July 25, 2022, at Gaymont Nursing Center.

Ann was born July 28, 1947, in Norwalk, to the late Robert Widman and Mary (LaFace) Widman.

Ann was a 1965 graduate of Norwalk High School. She was a former member of Clarksfield Methodist Church and most recently attended Oasis and Potter's House Churches. Ann was a former officer for Business and Professional Women's Organization, New London, served on the boards for the local chapters of American Cancer Society and Abigail Pregnancy Center, and served as Girl Scout Leader and Cub Scout Den Mother. Ann was a correspondent for Norwalk Reflector, advertising director for New London Record and Firelands Farmer, office manager for WLKR Radio, hostess at Norwalk Raceway Park, and other various jobs. In her spare time, Ann loved to bake and entered many of her baked goods, floral arrangements, and other crafts in Huron County Fair. She also enjoyed volunteering, Lake Erie, local beaches, writing poetry, reading, and doing cross stitch.

Ann enjoyed staying busy and was a woman of many talents. However, she will be best remembered for her sense of humor, which she courageously maintained during her final days.

Ann is survived by her husband, Robert Parker of Norwalk; daughter, Stacey Hardwick of Huron, Shane (Amanda) Spencer of Newark; stepdaughter, Jo Dee Fountain of Florida; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Morgan, and Isaac; brother, John (Nancy) Widman of Delta; sister, Karen (Dave) Denman of Toledo; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her stepfather, Seldon Craft.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. A hour of visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2022, with the funeral at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
