Ann Cannon Obituary

Ann Cannon

Jul 30, 1957 - Mar 25, 2024

Norwalk

Ann Cannon, 66, died Monday, March 25, 2024, after a 10-year battle with brain cancer.

She was born July 30, 1957, in Norwalk, to Theodore Brooks and Dorothy Brooks. Her father preceded her in death. Ann lived her entire life on the family farm. Ann was a warm, generous, happy-go-lucky girl who loved to laugh. She spoke a language that the deaf ear can hear and the blind can see: Kindness. Simply put, if you knew her, you liked her and if you knew her well, you loved her.

Ann is survived by her husband, Cliff, whom she married March 3, 2006; son, Sean (Liz) Walker; daughter, Ellen (Gustavo) Chavez; grandchildren, Annie, Arlo, and Enzo; Cliff's children, Stacia Cannon, Thomas (Caitlyn) Cannon, Emily (John) Kilbane, Kristin (Nicholas) Sabbato, and Jacob (Courtney) Cannon; grandchildren, Skyeler, Cayden, Kenni, Stella, Payton, Ciaran, and Oaklyn, better known as Ann's beloved "Lakelynn"; great-grandchild, Lucy; mother, Dorothy Brooks; brothers and sisters, Christine (Tom) Ryan, Dean (Terry) Brooks, Daniel (Laura) Brooks, Caroline (Jerry) Hedges, and Sharon (Pat) Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Ann's funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be sent to one's favorite charity.

Ann was truly one of a kind- more care and love in that woman than 1000 others, and still strong as they come. Bless you, Ann, for the many years of dedication to others. Thankful you had Cliff to take you on such wonderful adventures and enrich both your lives as you enjoyed those you met. Rest in Peace Dear One
