Andre Paul Chaput, 67, residing in Milan, passed away early Thursday morning, Sept. 26, 2024, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Andre was born May 6, 1957, in Quebec, Canada, to Gaetan and Irene (Jaenisch) Chaput.
Andre, a graduate of New Hampshire Technical College with a Master's Degree in Design Engineering, dedicated his career to Freedom CAD in Nashua, New Hampshire, where he eventually retired. A faithful member of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Merrimack, New Hampshire, Andre found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was passionate about music, fishing, classic cars, and the great outdoors, particularly camping and hiking. Above all, Andre cherished the time spent with his beloved family and friends, especially his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
Andre is survived by his wife of almost 47 years, Anna (Eastom) Chaput; daughters, Sabrina Hoyt of Plainfield, Indiana and Jennifer Chaput of Grand Junction, Colorado; son, Nicholas (Amber) Chaput of Milan; eight grandchildren, Madison, Isaac, Emma, Haley, Noah, Sophia, Ellie and Brayden; sisters, Anne Chaput and Elise (Stephane) Dehem-Trepanier, both of Quebec, Canada; brother, Michael Chaput; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Andre is preceded in death by his sisters, Caroline Chaput and Irene Dehem-Lemelin.
A Celebration of Life for Andre will be announced by the family at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory in Milan is assisting the family with arrangements.
