Allen Hale, 63, of New London, died Thursday, July 25, 2024, at his home.

He was born March 2, 1961, in New London, to Ezella (Parsons) and Lawrence G. Hale Sr. Allen was a 1979 graduate of New London High School and was a LPN at Mercy Allen Hospital in Oberlin. He also was an EMT with the Firelands, Citizens, and Mercy Allen Hospital ambulance services over the years and received the Key Award from Lorain County. He also owned and operated Hales Safety Equipment, working on light bars, as well as pastored at the Church of Christ in Fitchville. Allen enjoyed building models especially Star Trek, Star Wars, and the band KISS. He loved old muscle cars with his favorite being the Trans Ams, but spending time with his family especially the grandchildren, he cherished most.

Allen is survived by his wife, Louise Shupe Hale; three children, Allen Hale Jr., Jenny (Richard) Kimble, and William Lawrence Hale, all of New London; nine grandchildren; and siblings, Rhonda (Mark) Kilgrove, Larry (Michelle) Hale Jr., Gwen Bailey, and Kenneth (Learose) Hale.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Keith Bailey; niece, Heather Reed; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024, until the time of Allen's services at 6 p.m. at Fitchville Church of Christ, 1524 US Rte. 250 S., Fitchville, Ohio, 44851.

The staff of Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main Street, New London, Ohio, 44851, is honored to serve the Hale family.
